Open 7 days a week all year long 9:30am – 6:30pm (except Christmas day). Browse and shop at a wide variety of food vendors (meat, fish, cheese, pies, local vegetables) as well as some interesting stores with food as the focus. Don’t miss ‘Olive the Senses’ or ‘David Woods Cheeses’ – goat cheese from Salt Spring Island that is to die for!
Bastian Square Market

Beautiful open air market featuring local farm vendors from May – Sept Thursday, Friday & Saturday 11:00am -5:30pm. Local artisans are featured from May – Sept every Sunday (except June 1st) from 11:00am – 4:00pm
Moss St Market
Location: Sir James Douglas Elementary School; Corner of Moss St & Fairfield Rd
Fun and funky open air local market featuring both local farmers, artisans as well as many prepared foods and snacks. Open May – October every Saturday 10:00am – 2:00pm. They now have an indoor ‘Winter Market’ open November – April every Saturday 10:00am – 12noon in the Gerry Oak Room located just next to the school. Follow the crowds…you’ll find it!
Peninsula Country Market
Location: Saanich Fairground; 1528 Stelly’s Cross Rd
Open air market featuring numerous local farmers and artisans as well as prepared foods. Open every Saturday June – October 9:00am – 1:00pm. This is ‘farm country’ so it doesn’t get fresher than this! Wake up early – it’s worth the drive!
